Job Summary
The Principal Analyst, HRIS serves as a subject matter expert for the HR systems. Provides high level project leadership on system initiatives. Provides consultative HRIS guidance to all levels of the company and HR functional customers.
Essential Job Functions
• Primary support for Recruiting and Talent Management.
* Understand and maintain confidentiality of HR data
• Gather HRIS data using BI reporting tools or running simple SQL queries
• Develop auditing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance of data
• Optimizes system rules, workflows, and capabilities by leveraging past experiences in Cloud system best practices, engaging vendor customer sites, and training events.
• Provides documentation to support projects and initiatives
• Ensure continuous quality improvement by analyzing data flow and understanding downstream impact of existing and new processes
• Performs mass data upload using data loader tools
• Collaborates across HR, IT, Payroll and Finance to ensure data process efficiencies
• Investigates problems and develops recommendations and strategies for long-term solutions to HR business leaders using latest system technology tools and practices, as well as leveraging outside resources and vendor customer sites
• Serves as escalation point for complex HRIS issues, partnering with the proper HRIT support team members, the system vendors, and the development teams for those vendors
• Gather business requirements for defects and enhancements related to the HR system and clearly document issues
• Consults on recurring and annual HR initiatives such as talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, annual compensation planning, learning, and annual benefits enrollment, advising on the adoption of best practices and providing enhancement and improvement recommendations
• Provides guidance on new feature functionality quarterly and periodic system upgrades to HR business users, considering best practices, industry trends, and overall feature adoption
• Effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Coordinates and manages other ad hoc HRIS projects and initiatives
• Helps develop HRIS skills of other members of the HR team
• Collaborates with other departments in developing and improving HR procedures and processes within the HR system
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Minimum 10+ years of HRIS experience.
• Direct Oracle HCM Cloud or similar Human Capital Management system required with specific experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
• Extensive knowledge of HRIS platforms, including systems related to employee systems of record, benefits, payroll, compensation, organizational development, and recruitment.
• Experience leading complex multi-functional teams to complete objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome barriers to progress.
• Diligent and skilled at leading programs and projects in complex environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly organized and motivated.
• Highly collaborative.
• Strong analytical and system analysis capabilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with other database tools
• Knowledge of testing and project management tools, such as JIRA, HP ALM, etc.

Pay Range: $88,453 - $172,484 / ANNUAL
