JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary

Provides lead level support for team supporting integrated behavioral health/chemical dependency services and long-term care for members with high-need potential. In collaboration with multidisciplinary care team working across the continuum, strives to ensure member progress toward desired outcomes and contributes to overarching strategy to provide quality and cost-effective member care.

Essential Job Duties


• Provides behavioral health subject matter expertise and support to healthcare services team, local behavioral health department(s), behavioral health/community agencies, providers, other internal departments/stakeholders and members as needed.
• Facilitates member screening and outreach, collects, interprets, and utilizes data, operationalizes regulations, and engages in various collaborative efforts related to increasing behavioral health access and sharing behavioral health resources and expertise.
• Consults with healthcare services leadership in regard to behavioral health programs/processes to devise and implement actions as necessary to meet regulatory and best practice standards.
• Acts as resource to healthcare services staff facilitating behavioral health programs/processes and supports communications and coordination of behavioral health activities.
• Resolves barriers to behavioral health access through strategic collaboration.
• Assists in behavioral health-related training of healthcare services staff according to department standards, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborates with and keeps healthcare services leadership apprised of behavioral health systems/processes and program needs.
• Generates reports and uses data in meaningful ways to promote adherence of behavioral health regulations/access improvements for behavioral health services.
• Assists care managers and may maintain a caseload for triage and service linkage.
• Acts as liaison internally and externally on behalf of both Molina and healthcare services in relation to behavioral health programs/process.
• Attends/participates in behavioral health-specific departmental, company-wide, and external committees, task forces or work groups as assigned.
• Local travel may be required (based upon state/contractual requirements).

Required Qualifications


• At least 4 years health care experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license with behavioral health experience. If licensed, license must be active and unrestricted in state of practice. Clinical licensure and/or certification required ONLY if required by state contract, regulation or state board licensing mandates.
• Demonstrated knowledge of community resources.
• Proactive and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work within a variety of settings and adjust style as needed - working with diverse populations, various personalities and personal situations.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Responsive in all forms of communication, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, and ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to change.
• Excellent problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications


• Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Clinical practice experience with a behavioral health entity or managed care organization.
• Experience in discharge planning, home health or transitional care.
• Knowledge of National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) requirements related to behavioral health conditions.
• EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system experience.
• Telehealth experience.
• Experience with underserved populations facing socioeconomic barriers to health care.
• Bilingual.

Pay Range: $29.05 - $56.64 / HOURLY
