Job Description
Job Summary

The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting various Training initatives. Utilizes strong organizational skills, project management skills, and experience facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions. Salesforce expertise required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Oversee the learning management system (LMS) and serve as the primary administrator by providing assistance with scheduling, training deployment, class enrollment, reporting, and system optimization
  • Provide help desk support by troubleshooting and responding to requests and questions, correcting systems problems, and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution to systems-related issues in a timely manner
  • Manage program logistics and coordination for all major Training initiatives
  • Maintain a library of training materials and resources for accurate tracking and recall
  • Collect and generate metrics on training consumption to evaluate learning effectiveness and to identify developmental opportunities
  • Prepare reports and analysis, including ad-hoc reports monthly to uncover areas for improvements and innovation
  • Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered
  • Facilitate scheduled in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Customer-focused when assisting employees with their LMS / training program questions and requests

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

 Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or previous applicable work experience in lieu of degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 - 3 years related experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet project deadlines
  • Attention to detail and self-proofing
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and has a high level of personal initiative
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to syntehsize mulitpe opinions and feedback
  • Proficient in database management and record keeping
  • Strong oral, written, listening and presentation skills
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
  • Resourceful and creative with problem solving
  • Salesforce Certification

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 years of training coordination experience
  • 2 years of LMS administration experience
  • 1-2 years of facilitation experience

Pay Range: $19.64 - $42.55 / HOURLY
