Job Summary
Provides support for Molina Protection Services Operations Center (PSOC) activities including physical security, threat, and incident intake and management for the enterprise. Collaborates with the business to address security issues or incidents that arise in the field or Molina offices. Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of persons and property by monitoring multiple security systems and physical security functions, detecting and assessing threats, responding to alarms and reporting incidents, and alignment with laws/regulations, and Molina policies, standards, and procedures.
Essential Job Duties
• Represents as primary administrator for the Molina visitor management system. Responsibilities include: licensing, daily administration including supporting and tracking regular compliance requirements, conducting regular administration and hardware audits, first-level support for user issues and troubleshooting developing, conducting and maintaining employee training, and supporting rollout of enhancements or changes.
• Coordinates annual security site risk assessments to ensure compliance; provides reports to Protection Services Operations Center (PSOC) and physical security leadership - ensuring risks are identified and escalated, and provides support for remediation of identified risks or issues.
• Responds to incidents, alarms, notifications, emails, and calls for service and supports in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
• Manages alarm, communications, reporting, video management, and access control functions across all locations using a variety of software programs.
• Processes, forwards and logs information from incoming request tickets and phone calls in a timely, professional, and effective manner; this includes access control, ID badges, emergency access, 9-11 responses and other operational daily requests.
• Monitor open-source information, global news, government alerts, and industry intelligence feeds to identify events that may affect personnel, travelers, or business operations
• Dispatches security personnel to respond to incidents; coordinates and issues alerts (i.e., be on (the) lookout (BOLO)).
• Facilitates and coordinates information exchanges during emergencies.
• Prepares written security-related reports for distribution and compliance purposes.
• Administers and maintains primary security systems, including security surveillance, access control, visitor management and intrusion systems.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and security system errors as they arise, and seeks additional support as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of PSOC-specific standard operating procedures, post orders, and other related protocols.
• Maintains roster of location-specific physical security contacts; develops, enhances and improves physical security liaison network across Molina locations; ensures annual compliance requirements are achieved at each location and employees receive annual training.
• May be required to work outside of normal business hours (nights, evenings, and weekends) if responding to safety emergencies.
Required Qualifications
• At least 2 years experience in physical security services and/or physical security operations - including experience leading programs at a national/enterprise level, and 1 year of visitor management systems experience, and 1 year of project management experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Demonstrated business continuity/security systems/technology integration experience, including vendor management experience.
• Experience with security risk assessment methodologies and implementation.
• Strong understanding of emergency management principles and crisis response.
• Knowledge of relevant security regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong project management experience/skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present information to internal/external stakeholders.
• Microsoft Office suite and applicable software program(s) proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Visitor management/risk management system(s) experience
- Experience supporting crisis management, business continuity, or emergency operations
- Prior work in corporate security, government, military, or a similar operational environment
