Job Summary
Provides lead level analyst support as a technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced data and reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making. Analyzes complex datasets including healthcare, financial, and operational data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and drive business performance. Partners with business and Information Technology (IT) teams to define requirements, leads analytics initiatives, ensures data quality, and provides guidance and oversight to analysts while promoting best practices and process improvements.
Job Duties
• Leads the design, development, and deployment of reports, dashboards, and data solutions using tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Analyzes complex datasets (e.g., healthcare claims, utilization, financial, and operational data) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translates business needs into technical requirements and scalable data solutions in partnership with business leaders and IT.
• Oversees data processes including extraction, transformation, integration, validation, and quality assurance.
• Provides technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to analysts; support peer review and quality standards.
• Lead or manage analytics projects, including prioritization, timeline management, and delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Develops and maintains database objects such as queries, views, functions, and stored procedures.
• Establishes and documents reporting standards, processes, and best practices.
• Drives process improvements, automation, and standardization across reporting and analytics functions.
• Presents insights, executive summaries, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Supports regulatory, audit, and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
• Builds and maintains strong cross-functional relationships to influence data-driven decision-making.
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Advanced expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL), relational databases, and reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
• Experience leading projects and providing technical or functional guidance to team members.
• Strong experience working with complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with healthcare analytics (e.g., claims, utilization, cost containment, medical economics).
• Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure data lakes) and business intelligence (BI) tools.
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting and healthcare payer systems (e.g., QNXT or similar platforms).
• Prior experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Pay Range: $65,791 - $142,548 / ANNUAL
