Growth Strategy Data Intelligence Manager
Molina Healthcare Job ID 2036329Job Description
Job Summary
The Data Intelligence Manager is responsible for supporting the Medicaid Product Team through the identification, capture, organization, analysis, and ongoing management of product-related data that informs product strategy, lifecycle management, and performance optimization. This role serves as a central hub for product intelligence—working across the organization to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support executive decision-making and strategic planning.
The Data Intelligence Manager partners closely with other Product Development Product Development team members as well as those from Business Development/RFP, Analytics, Actuarial, Clinical, Operations, and other functional SMEs (at national and local market levels) to establish and maintain a comprehensive, trusted source of product data. This includes defining data standards, ensuring data quality and refresh cycles, and maintaining structured repositories, dashboards, and reporting tools that enable consistent, repeatable analysis across products and capabilities.
Acting as an intermediary between highly technical data teams and executive- and strategy-oriented stakeholders, the role synthesizes quantitative and qualitative inputs into concise narratives, summaries, and visualizations. While the position ultimately supports growth initiatives and future procurement activities, its primary focus is strengthening the Medicaid Product Team’s ability to understand product performance, identify opportunities and risks, and manage the full lifecycle of Molina’s products and capabilities through data-driven insights.
Job Duties
- Lead the identification, collection, and management of Medicaid product-related data across the enterprise, partnering with accountable data owners to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability
- Establish standards, requirements, and (as necessary) tools to support the intake of product data from internal and external (e.g., vendor) sources, accounting for the broad array of data types and needs as they vary by product business
- Develop and maintain centralized product data repositories, databases, dashboards, and recurring reports that support product lifecycle management and performance monitoring
- Define data refresh cycles, governance standards, and documentation to ensure product data remains current, reliable, and auditable
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights, executive-ready summaries, and visual storytelling that inform product strategy and decision-making
- Collaborate with Product Management and Growth Strategy leaders to assess product performance, utilization trends, and capability effectiveness over time
- Coordinate with analytics teams to guide data extraction, metric definition, and analytical approaches aligned to product needs
- Support cross-functional working sessions to review product data, surface insights, identify gaps, and recommend areas for further analysis
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including actuarial, enterprise information management, medical economics, clinical, operations, and quality teams
- Identify data gaps and work with SMEs to define new data elements, metrics, or reporting approaches as product strategies evolve
- Monitor industry and regulatory developments as they relate to Medicaid products and product data requirements, in coordination with specialized teams where applicable
- Proactively identify risks, data limitations, or inconsistencies and escalate as appropriate
