Responsible for estimating liabilities, establishing premium rates, financial analysis and reporting. Extracts, analyzes, and synthesizes data from various sources to identify risks.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Lead Actuarial staff in IBNR estimation process and rate adequacy studies. Coordinate with health plan management teams. Communicate findings to Molina Executive management and design/implement appropriate follow-up analyses.
• Lead Actuarial staff supporting capitation rate negotiations, new business development, rate filings and bids, mergers, and regulatory reporting requiring collaboration with corporate and health plan senior management teams.
• Coordinate projects involving employees across functional areas.
• Stay abreast of professional developments and industry trends..
Job Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
7+ Years
Required License, Certification, Association
Associate of the Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries
Preferred Experience
10+ years
Preferred License, Certification, Association
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries

Pay Range: $140,795 - $274,550.26 / ANNUAL
