Associate Specialist, National Communications (Care Connections) - REMOTE

Job Description

Job Summary
Provides entry level support for enterprise-wide communications activities.  Responsible for creating a variety of business communications materials including newsletters, intranet articles, workflows, job aides, emails, etc.  Collaborates cross-functionally to develop communications plans, optimize resource allocation, and enhance the impact of communication efforts across the Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial lines of business.

Essential Job Duties:

• Writes and develops content to support the creation of internal and external communication and marketing materials.
• Edits, proofs and reviews all communications to meet the Molina brand, tone, voice and style requirements.
• Advises and coordinates the production, ordering and distribution of communications, including print and promotional orders, external mailings, e-newsletters and the publishing of web content - ensuring on-time production and distribution/delivery of materials.
• Serves as a liaison between internal departments and external communications/marketing vendors. 
• Serves as a communication resource to department leaders proactively and routinely meets with departments to determine communication and content needs.
• Creates and updates policies and procedures, workflows, job aides and communication department training materials.
• Ensures regulatory/accreditation compliance of communications/marketing materials in alignment with state and federal requirements.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements in all communications materials.
• Promotes enterprise-wide brand strategy to ensure consistent brand identity, messaging, and experience across all products, communications and member touchpoints.
• Follows content governance and quality control - ensuring all member and provider-facing materials meet brand, accuracy, accessibility, cultural competency, and regulatory standards.

Required Job Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of communications and/or marketing experience, including writing/editing experience, preferably in health care/managed care, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Copywriting/editing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in a concise manner and in the appropriate tone.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic graphic design and proficiency in Adobe creative suite.
• Some project management experience. 
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal/external stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs proficiency.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
1-2 years

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field

Preferred Experience:
2-3 years

Pay Range: $13.41 - $29.06 / HOURLY
