Job Description


Job Summary

Provides support for scheduled vehicle transportation services and logistical support for special events, including setups and parades. Performs routine driving duties and ensures effective coordination of transport activities.

  • Must be willing to travel throughout the Massachusetts area.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Must be flexible to work weekends and adjust work hours based on event schedules.
  • Driving Requirement: Must have the ability and confidence to safely operate a 24-foot Winnebago. A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required

Job Duties

  • Ensures accurate and timely distribution of Molina satellite-related correspondence by coordinating, reviewing, and documenting all job tickets relating to items and documents for delivery. 
  • Ensures proper handling, delivery and distribution of member related and other necessary documents; provides basic administrative support as part of delivery services.
  • Performs clerical functions related to delivery activities; assists with fleet and other administrative services functions and communicates regularly with leadership to address any barriers that affect delivery processes.
  • Ensures appropriate maintenance and repair for all fleet vehicles through inspection, and tracks vehicle maintenance and repairs needs, including checking vehicle’s brakes, controls, and fuel content, and interfacing with leadership where appropriate. 
  • Performs minor maintenance and emergency repairs for Molina vehicles as needed, including changing tires, installing light fuses, and checking/adding fluids. 
  • Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic and transportation procedures. Reports delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to leadership immediately.
  • Provides assistance, as directed, for the warehouse function of the fleet team. Assistance may include but not limited to inventory auditing, organizing warehouse materials and keeping the warehouse space clean and free of debris.
  • Interacts professionally at all times with both internal and external customers.
  • Wears Molina branded attire always (i.e., branded shirts and/or jackets).

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1 year of related experience related to transport, customer service, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. 
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance for job related travel requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving. 
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance and emergency repairs to Molina Healthcare Inc. vehicles as needed, such as changing tires and installing light fuses. 
  • Ability to operate required tools and equipment. 
  • Ability to safely drive various business vehicles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work independently and make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization. 
  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions (e.g., snow shoveling) 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Microsoft Office suite/applicable software programs proficiency, and ability to learn new programs. 
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a health care setting and/or large logistics organization.

Pay Range: $13.41 - $29.06 / HOURLY
