Job Description


The Supervisor, Behavioral Health will supervisor and guide Behavioral Health Specialists as well as provide active individualized therapy in a remote telehealth setting which includes urgent mental health crisis intervention, chronic condition counseling, and community resources to manage patients' social needs. 


This position will be supporting our Washington State program. We are seeking a candidate with WA State LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychiatric Nurse RN licensure.  Experience with ASAM is highly preferred. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office products, i.e. Excel, Word, OneNote. Further details to be discussed during our interview process.

Work schedule Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm PST with occasional holiday coverage.  The Supervisor must be able to work PST hours.

Remote position preferrable in Washington State

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Responsible for managing, training and guiding the Behavioral Health (BH) Specialists. 
  • Provides support, reports, and problem solving. 
    Offers in house training in clinical areas of crisis intervention, prevention and intervention with high-risk conduct members (like suicide prevention and intervention, domestic, violence, child maltreatment). 
  • Support the BH staff with crisis intervention including case discussions as needed. 
  • Maintain awareness of potential situations difficult to handle by BH staff and manages escalated cases. 
  • Identifies and refers the appropriate disease management and medical case management programs to members. 
  • Oversees the operation of the BH staff. Manages staff scheduling. Measures performance of the BH staff. 
  • Advises BH staff in the completion of telehealth assessments using standardized protocols to evaluate the patient's health status and provide home care instruction, health education, and /or direction appropriate level of care. 
  • Conducts appropriate chart reviews to ensure correct level of service provided by BH staff. 
  • Documents and maintains accurate records of telehealth assessments, interventions and disposition into the EPIC software system. 
  • Actively participates in internal quality and workflow enhancement projects.

Job Qualifications

Required Education
Master's Degree in Social Work


Required Experience
3 - 5 years experience and demonstrated understanding of all elements related to crisis management 
Must have experience in a clinical setting with a working knowledge of a variety of medical concerns as well as mental health and chemical dependency treatment. 


Required License, Certification, Association
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) 
Must be certified to practice in state of residency and able to be cross state licensed. 
Must have passed Association of Social Work Board (ASWB) exam. 


Preferred Experience
3+ years Clinical and Administrative experience in Behavioral Healthcare management. 
Experience in discharge planning, home health or transitional care 
Knowledge of NCQA requirements related to behavioral health conditions 
Knowledge of EPIC electronic health records 
Telehealth experience 
Experienced with underserved populations facing socioeconomic barriers to health care 
Bilingual skills is a plus

Pay Range: $67,725 - $149,028 / ANNUAL
