Job Summary
As the Senior Consultant, Protection Services Operations Center (PSOC), you will be a member of Molina Healthcare’s Protection Services Operations Center, reporting to the Director. This role will be responsible for executing and managing the systems support physical security operations, business continuity management, crisis management, emergency response and health and safety for the departments delivering these services to the enterprise.
The candidate should be an experienced hands-on analyst that will help implement, support and maintain our business applications. You will also analyze system requirements and perform and/or coordinate system and regression testing for business applications. The candidate will work closely with IT business analysts to deliver services and will support key business stakeholders to ensure system performance, operability, and security.
This role will liaise with all stakeholders to ensure system strategy alignment and continuous delivery of enhancements to support growing business operations. Activities will ensure alignment with policies, standard and procedures in deliverables. Additionally, this person will support incident response and crisis management activities during disruptive events as needed.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Analyze large complex datasets and proactively monitor, triage, and escalate findings from monitoring and detection tools.
- Communicate findings, risks, and gaps to both technical and non-technical program stakeholders.
- Conduct inquiries and investigations into suspicious activities and liaise with legal and HR departments.
- Relevant certifications such as Global Counter-Insider Threat Professional (GCITP), Certified Insider Threat Analyst, Certified Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), or Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE).
- Experience in insider threat investigations, digital forensics, and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, file systems, and forensic tools.
- Lead insider threat inquiries, investigations, and reporting by employing critical technical and non-technical skill sets.
- Identifying events/incidents that exhibit an insider threat nexus based on known behaviors and triggers.
- Conduct interviews to gather information and ascertain the validity and impact of potential threats.
- Technical SME for the PSOC business applications and support the business with the continued operation, maintenance, and enhancements to the application
- Meet with application owners/users to review upcoming maintenance, system enhancements and support related issues on a periodic basis
- Training and guidance to the user community on the use of the applications
- Guidance and assistance to service desk for issues involving applications
- Engagement of the IT infrastructure team for technical design, configurations and ongoing operations of applications
- Developing and maintaining systems documents, SOPs, user training documents
- Work with IT business analysts on new system requirements and solutions based on those requirements
- Represent and perform change management, training, and communication to the user community for applications
- Work with 3rd parties for ongoing support and maintenance of applications
- Ensure that the technical service catalog is kept up to date for existing and new applications
- Provide regular status reports and develop metrics for business applications for reporting to leadership
- May be required to work outside of normal business hours (nights, evenings, and weekends) if responding to emergencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Required Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years demonstrated experience in physical security, threat intelligence and/or security operations with comprehensive understanding of practice, principles and processes
- Knowledge of Lenel, Avigilon, BC in the Cloud, Envoy and Everbridge (including VCC, SafetyConnect and Notification). PPM experience a plus
- 4+ years of experience as a systems analyst
- 3+ years of experience as a support analyst
- Ability to create, run and analyze Microsoft SQL queries
- Experience with advanced Excel data manipulation
- Understanding the flow of data, business processes, technical interfaces that would be created or impacted
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability
- Ability to meet and manage project delivery
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects to support business needs
- Ability to flexibly accept dynamically changing priorities
- Data analytics and data visualization tools, such as PowerBI is a plus

You have a deep understanding of:
- The candidate should have a strong grasp of systems administration and management of technical infrastructure, services, and documentation
- Extensive experience as a business analyst or technical application subject matter expert
- Extensive experience with Lenel, Avigilon, Envoy, and Everbridge (including VCC, Notification and SafetyConnect).
- Software skills & competencies are required, as well as internet research abilities and strong communication skills. Includes: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and also preferably a familiarity with SharePoint and Visio
- Excellent knowledge of physical security and security operations best practices, policies, and procedures

Preferred experience:
- Experience conducting information security, law enforcement, counterintelligence or insider threat analysis and/or investigations.
- 5+ years of combined hands-on experience within Insider Threat or Information Security, with past roles in security threat monitoring-related work.
