Job Summary
The HR Program Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of HR projects and initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and a deep understanding of HR processes and systems.
Job Duties
• Accountable for bringing all stakeholders / project managers together to achieve goals for large HR projects within multiple functional areas. Facilitate collaboration between project contributors to ensure efficient delivery.
• Manages the complete calendar of HR projects for tracking progress, elevating issues for resolution and ensuring consistent communication and resolution. Tracking and reporting on project status, issues, and dependencies. Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent messaging throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project participants have access to the resources, tools, and information they need to achieve project goals and meet required deadlines across multiple projects.
• Coordinate activities between multiple projects, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration without directly managing them.
• Develop project deliverables expected for all HR projects including documentation, SOPs, change management review, train the trainer materials, communications, etc.
• Development of tools and resources to successfully implement a new process, cyclical projects, and changes to processes.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks to ensure projects are executed effectively and align with organizational standards.
• Develop intake and prioritization methodology and manage this process going forward in partnership with HRLT stakeholders
• Managing projects from concept to implementation, including determining milestones, KPIs, and project measurements.
• Facilitate organizational change, manage the dependencies between projects, and address any project
• Report ROI metrics and project progress to company executives, providing insights and recommendations for future projects.
• Allocate resources, including employees, budget, and technology, to optimize project outcomes and ensure efficient use of assets.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks to ensure that project deadlines and budgets are met, and potential issues are mitigated.
• Drive discussions on upcoming HR initiatives and take responsibility for future roadmap aligning with strategic goals.
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• 8+ years relevant experience including proven experience in managing a portfolio of projects within a large business unit or company.
• Demonstrated ability to align HR initiatives with business goals through strategic thinking and proactive collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly, listen actively, and craft precise, coherent written documents tailored to diverse audiences.
• Strong presentation skills at a leadership level, capable of effectively communicating strategies and results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, as well as manage and resolve issues effectively, ensuring successful portfolio management.
• Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis software and HRIS systems.
REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, & ASSOCIATION:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a leadership role within HR
MS Project and or JIRA
Fusion Analytics
PREFERRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, & ASSOCIATION:
Oracle Human Capital Management Certification

Pay Range: $88,453 - $206,981 / ANNUAL
