Job Summary

The Mgr, SDPC Oversight Agency is responsible for providing professional and quality-focused management and leadership to the SDPC Field Team and managing day-to-day activities and initiatives in alignment with SDPC and TMG strategic goals. Ensures the SDPC program is meeting contractual obligations and helps the program improve overall efficiency, quality, and integrity. Responsible for providing supervision to the SDPC RN Managers located in the field (remote). Complies with the program requirements set forth by the Department of Health Services (DHS) for IRIS SDPC services. 

Along with the Dir, Healthcare Services, develops, and reviews all processes and guidelines. Develops ICA, FEA, participant educational materials, triage materials, and RN training materials and keeps these materials up to date. Collaborates with DHS, FEAs and ICAs to provide training and subject matter expertise on the IRIS Self-Directed Personal Care Oversight Agency. Collaborates with the Clinical Services team to determine needs, capacity, and deadlines, reassign workloads as needed and to run My Care Group (MCG) meetings. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Self-Directed Personal Care Oversight Agency
  • Supervises the Self-Directed Personal Care RN Managers and acts as a resource to Managers.
  • Responsible for managing staffing capacity, hiring staff, onboarding, ongoing feedback, and training to ensure proper tools and resources are in place and effective.   
  • Collaborates with other IRIS staff to ensure processes are working and that contract obligations are being met while serving as a consultant on complex clinical issues. 
  • Liaison for Self-Directed Personal Care Oversight Agency at the IRIS Contractors meetings as well as part of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services/SDPC Monthly check-ins.
  • Oversees the organization of My Care Groups (caseloads), enrollment, oversight, and the disenrollment of particpants.
  • Responsible for development of all processes and policies for the Self-Directed Personal Care Oversight Agency.
  • Works with Quality Services on all program integrity issues, disenrollment Notices of Action process and assists leadership with mitigation of grievances.
  • Acts as a liaison to the Department of Health Services for the WISITS system.  Organizes testing and training so Clinical Staff may use this system effectively.
  • Works closely with data and is responsible for running, tracking, monitoring, and distributing data reports and enlisting feedback as needed. Works closely with the TMG Data team to ensure any issues with state data system are resolved as well as assisting in the development of tool and dashboards.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Five years of experience, including team/functional area management
  • Five years of nursing supervisory or commensurate experience.
  • One year of MAPC or home care nursing experience.
  • At least one-year applicable experience working with at least one of the three target groups served by IRIS.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid rules required, DHS policies and J waiver knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of in-home care, risk associated with in-home care, equipment, and service options available to participants.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of and experience with quality management, strategic planning and improvement tools and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to use a variety of technology including Microsoft Office products: including but not limited to; Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, online portals and databases. Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Ability to work within a variety of settings and adjust style as needed; to work with a diverse population, various personalities, and personal situations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with individuals.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to focus on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to change.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and strong math skills.

REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, ASSOCIATION:

  • Possess and maintain a Wisconsin RN licensure
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain adequate auto insurance for job-related travel to home visits and attending meetings and conferences as requested.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Master’s Degree in Nursing

Pay Range: $80,412 - $156,803.45 / ANNUAL
