Job Summary:

The Sr. Graphic Designer will be responsible for taking strategic marketing plans and interpreting them into “big ideas” throughout a variety of platforms and will direct and oversee all creative output. Not only will this position need a strong design background with a well-developed graphic sense, but they will need exceptional organization and communication skills.This position works with internal customers and external partners to ensure designed materials are creative, effective and on brand.

Responsible for the overall graphic design of Molina Healthcare’s brand including all subsidiaries. This includes the leadership, direct supervision and coordination of the Creative team and product. Works collaboratively with Copywriters, Marketing Managers and internal clients to identify graphics solutions as well as identify, design and implement process improvement strategies to aid in collaboration and effectiveness. As a leader on the Corporate Marketing team, the Sr. Graphic Designer will be looked to as one of the department’s “problem solvers” and keepers of the brand.


·Proven knowledge and experience in brand strategies, changing demographics, media consumption patterns and the latest technologies and trends. Health care experience a plus

·Thoughtful conceptual ability, strong typographic skills, exhibit strict attention to detail, and have a passion for design and design culture

·Proven track record of leading creative from conception to final execution of integrated campaigns

·Experience in distilling complex, technical information into clear, meaningful idea

·Highly organized and experienced in managing multiple projects and evolving priorities, and to see opportunities to present content in different platforms

·The ability to work creatively, collaboratively and within established deadline and budgets

·Effectively present creative concepts

·Capable of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

·Ability to lead as well as self-manage and motivate, as well as handle multiple projects

·Exceptional leadership, collaboration, team work and interpersonal skills

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign in a Mac OS X environment

·Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 as well as social and digital experience


Job Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience:

·3-5 years of experience in graphic design

·Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and experience with HTML/CSS

·Knowledge of production processes – with the ability to create an accurate final digital art that is appropriate to a variety of production methods (print or digital)

·5-7 years of experience in graphic design

·Ability to judge creative concepts and clearly communicate creative direction to others

·At least 1 year of experience in managing creative teams as well as overseeing external resources/partners

Preferred Experience:
5-7 years of experience in graphic design
