Job Summary
Responsible for the strategic development and administration of contracts with State and/or Federal governments for Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace, and other government-sponsored programs to provide health care services to low income, uninsured, and other populations.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- · Day to Day Management (both Molina and Senior Whole Health Plans):
- Member and provider complaints responses
- For Bureau of Consumer Services, Department of Health, and Department of Financial Services
- Updating relevant trackers
- Regulatory Member Materials
- Maintenance, Submission and Tracking
- GC tracker requests
- Library management
- Subcontracts-preparation, filing, storing
- Maintenance of (6) shared GC email boxes
- prioritizing regulatory and leadership communications
- backing up relevant emails
- OMIG Audit Responses
- Member and provider complaints responses
- Attendance and minutes for regulatory and advocacy meetings
- Regulatory Guidance Distribution and Tracking
- Assist with facilitation of internal approval process through GC Center of Excellence
- Document preparation and tracking
Job Qualifications
Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
- GC Specialist Position 1:
- Experience with member and provider complaint responses to NYS
- Materials Management
- Strong document editing skills
- GC Specialist Position 2:
- Experience with OMIG Audit responses
- Reviewing and interpreting regulator guidance
Required License, Certification, Association
N/A
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field.
Preferred Experience
• 2+ years compliance related experience.
• 1+ years in Medicare
Preferred License, Certification, Association
