Job Summary

Leads performance improvement initiatives across all LTSS markets through three (3) primary domains: 1) Creating performance transparency across Molina’s LTSS products, 2) Implementation of best practices, and 3) Developing Scorable Action Items (SAIs) that drive revenue growth and margin expansion.  Manages direct reports responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering products through the design process to completion.  

Plan, direct and lead project budgets from inception through delivery, including oversight of work performed by external vendors.  Engages with SMEs from multiple workstreams to develop and publish analytics that determine and expose critical operating and financial metrics.  Launch and maintain various dashboards that facilitate centralize management reporting of LTSS markets.  Leverage reporting dashboards and other analytics to set financial and operating KPIs.  Clearly identify and document program design and performance lever variability by state.

Identification, documentation and application of best practices, also termed Credentialed Practices to drive standardization across Molina markets.  Establish guidelines and practices to reduce unwarranted variation in HCBS services, especially personal care and attendant care type service hours. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Leverages understanding of key revenue and cost drivers to improve operating processes to optimize margin, quality and business process efficiency.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coaches and engage LTSS operators through structured performance review cadences that promote a culture of disciplined and continuous improvement.
  • Results-oriented management and leadership aptitude.  Experienced and comfortable presenting to C level executives.
  • Ability to drive structure and organization, quickly assimilate information and make informed decisions.
  • Superior capability of managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • Serves as LTSS SME to support Molina enterprise needs across relevant functional areas.
  • Consultative role, develops business case methodologies for programs, develops and coordinates implementation of business strategy.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Services Administration, Health Sciences or related health care field or equivalent experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years management experience in health care operations or similar field, including direct supervision of customer service, member  grievances and appeals, benefits administration, claims, or provider services.

• Demonstrated strong analytical skills, including experience interpreting and complying with regulatory guidance and agencies.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment with resources in a variety of remote locations spanning multiple time zones.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

 Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health or related field   

PREFERRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, ASSOCIATION:

Licensed clinician preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Working environment is generally favorable and lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Pay Range: $122,430.44 - $238,739.35 / ANNUAL
